Download FreeDOS software:
The FreeDOS Beta 8 ("Nikita") Distribution is now available on ibiblio. Currently only files (install disk image and install sets) for 1.44MB 3.5inch floppies are there. The CD-ROM image is now available! Don't forget to read the Readme.Jeremy Davis writes: I have tried to provide boot disks for 1.44MB & 720KB 3.5 inch floppies and 1.2MB & 360KB 5.25 inch floppies. There are also standard 1.44MB sized install sets (disk sets) and some 360KB sized install sets [for 360KB and up media]. Disks are available for download as ready to write disk images, zipped (for smaller download and for those that have problems downloading the raw binary files), and for the 1.44MB one as a self writing executable (should work under DOS as its a DOS .exe, but I only tested under Win2k).
